SCHOOL BEGINS THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 8TH
September 8 - Grades 4 - 8 have class
September 9 - Grades K - 3 have class
September 10 - ALL grades K - 8 have school - FULL DAY
PreK comes to school on Monday, September 13th.
The first tuition payment of the 2010-2011 school year is due on August 1st. Please mail to: Our Lady of Providence School, 82 Carleton Avenue, Central Islip, NY 11722. If you chose to pay in monthly installments, the second payment is due on Sept. 1st. Please make these payments on time so that you do not have to pay a lot of money to catch up in your payments.
The office will be open on the following summer dates from 9 - 12 noon:
August 23, 24, 25, 26
August 30, 31 September 1, 2
If you need to speak to someone at the school, please leave a message on the phone. Someone will be checking the messages regularly.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lane, Mrs. Prazak and Mrs. Vagner on their retirement! Adios to Mrs. DeLillo! We will miss them, but we wish them the best! We thank them for all they have done for our school.

Please register at Stop and Shop so the store will give us a percentage of the money you spend on groceries. You do not pay any EXTRA money but they will give the school a donation based on sales. You can shop at any Stop and Shop. Just go to their website www.stopandshop.com/aplus put in your information and your Stop and Shop card number. It is so easy!
Also, please cut all of the Boxtops for Education labels from your favorite foods. We redeem them for money! Also, you can register at their website www.boxtops4education.com for their MARKETPLACE. If you do online shopping through this website, they will "kick back" a percentage of the money to Our Lady of Providence!
