Message from the Principal

I hope everyone had a blessed and joyous Easter.  Thank goodness the weather is starting to show signs of spring!  State testing has begun for our 4th and 6th graders.  The results of these tests are used to plan our lessons and to better serve the educational needs of our students.  Please read the letter posted below from Sister Joanne Callahan, Superintendent of Rockville Centre Schools, regarding the state tests.
As always, thank you for the sacrifices you make to give your children a Catholic education, and for all your support of our school.

Sincerely,
    Sharon Swift
    Principal

If you want to be a chaperone on a class trip or come to school for various events, we need the following: 1. You need to fill out a volunteer application so we can do a background check.  This only reveals if you have had charges against you involving children.  THIS MUST BE DONE IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE.   Please fill out the form and return it to school ASAP.  If you have filled it out before, you do not have to do it again. 2. VIRTUS TRAINING - If you have not attended a Virtus Training, you may not be a volunteer. Please see attachment. You may register for Virtus training here.
